Gianluca Gualandi, an optician who created and operated niche optical and accessories, practiced in Italy from 1989-2005. Gualandi presented his first collection, Talla Eyewear at Silmo in 2016. Always begin curious about art and his passion for design and fashion his vision of Talla became true. He draws inspiration from his passion for weaving and the intricate blend of textures and origins it involves. Each material is a luxury is chosen with meticulous care, reflecting the best moments of his life in every collection. Gualandi's journey began with his mother, a skilled seamstress in the luxury industry in Bologna, where he learnt the art of precision and attention to detail. As a result, he carefully crafts every millimeter of my frames to embody this dedication.
